Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice within CVS Retail locations. You will work under a preceptor to complete a comprehensive training roadmap and support the pharmacy team to ensure prompt, safe, and accurate prescription filling while delivering caring service.

You will participate in immunizations, medication synchronization, and ongoing staff mentoring.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Pharmacy internship experience or related pharmacy work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians with pharmacy workflow and patient service.
• Counsel patients, field medical questions, and obtain patient history when appropriate under supervision.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs and ensure patient safety and privacy.
