Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our Retail pharmacy team. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a preceptor, following SOPs and contributing to accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.

As you progress, you will gain hands-on experience across store operations, interact with patients by phone or in person, and participate in immunizations and additional health services where permitted by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on key learning experiences and SOPs.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, while delivering caring service.
• Contribute to patient experiences with empathy, effective communication, and teamwork.
• Support immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and offsite clinics where legally allowed and trained.
