Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a preceptor. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and patients receive caring service.

This is a part-time role within CVS Retail locations with the opportunity to learn immunizations, SOPs, and store operations while gaining exposure to district and regional operations.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern/technician licensure.
• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Strong customer service and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients under supervision to provide optimal care.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Maintain SOP adherence and safety practices across tasks.
• Assist with inventory and delivery tasks as directed by leadership.
