Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is hiring a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service at CVS Health locations. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, learn SOPs, and collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to prepare for greater responsibilities.

You will participate in immunization support, patient counseling, and adherence to all relevant regulations while developing clinically and technically in a store network.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred Qualifications include 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to become immunization certified once state regulations are met; striving to provide patient immunizations as essential pharmacist function

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn and follow SOPs, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and a safe, inclusive culture.
