Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our retail pharmacy teams. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following SOPs and participating in a comprehensive training roadmap designed to develop clinical and operational skills.

You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, patient interactions, and leadership coaching while ensuring safe, accurate, and compassionate service to patients.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap with KLEs and leadership exposure.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure timely, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision.
• Support immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed.
