Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world pharmacy practice within CVS stores. Under a preceptor’s direction, you’ll follow a comprehensive training roadmap, participate in SOPs, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow at each workstation.
• Provide compassionate, customer-focused service to patients in-store and via phone.
• Counsel patients and obtain necessary information for optimal care under supervision.
• Support inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed by pharmacy leadership.
• Travel to stores in the market to support scheduling and business needs.
