Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams and learn under supervision. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, follow SOPs, and assist with prescription processing while delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Under a preceptor-led roadmap, you will gain hands-on experience, participate in immunization activities where allowed, and rotate through store, district, and regional operations to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend required training and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Provide customer service and assist patients in a pharmacy setting.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and staff to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy.
• Demonstrate empathy and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by state law and training.
