Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in our retail locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor, following SOPs and contributing to patient safety and service quality.

You will gain hands-on experience through a structured training roadmap, with opportunities to learn store, district, and regional operations, while preparing for a Pharmacist role and developing clinical and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to assist Pharmacists and Technicians in patient health management.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across pharmacy workflow.
• Counsel and answer patient questions, obtaining medical history when appropriate.
• Assist with immunizations and vaccines where allowed by state regulations.
• Support inventory activities and store operations as directed by pharmacy leadership.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.
