Job summary

CVS Health in the United States seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learnings to real-world practice under a preceptor. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap, contribute to safe prescription fulfillment, and gain exposure to store, district, and regional operations while preparing for a Pharmacist role.

You will assist with SOPs, patient interactions, and immunization support under supervision, while demonstrating empathy and a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focused on Key Learning Experiences (KLEs) and increasing responsibility over time.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other patient care services where allowed by law and under supervision.
