Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacy intern to provide customer service, process and fill prescriptions, manage inventory, and support clinical services at the pharmacy counter.

You will communicate with patients, handle third-party adjudication, and assist with health screenings and immunizations when trained and authorized. Enrolled in an accredited program with a state license is required; weekly pay and great benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).
• Positive attitude andExcellent communication skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship; Organizational skills.

• Understanding of patient confidentiality and MTM/pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions; interact with patients in person and by phone.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and third-party adjudication.
• Manage inventory, balance on hand, and place vendor orders.
• Perform clinical services when trained and authorized, including health screenings and immunizations where allowed.
