Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to provide customer service, process and fill prescriptions, and support clinical services under supervision. You will assist with third party billing, inventory management, and patient interactions in a busy pharmacy setting.

The role requires enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program and a state license as a Pharmacy Intern, with strong communication, organizational and confidential handling of patient information.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship; organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions; perform Will Call transactions.
• Manage inventory and update balance on hand; assist with vendor processing.
• Provide clinical services under pharmacist supervision and support third party functions.
