Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a post-graduate pharmacist trainee to participate in supervised pharmacy activities, ensuring accurate dispensing and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

You will provide medication counseling, immunizations, and preventive health services while supporting pharmacy operations, financial performance and inventory management under the direction of licensed pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States.
• Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC).
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy, if required.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of intern hours.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients under supervision of licensed pharmacist to ensure proper medication usage.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications in line with workload and regulations.
• Maintains compliance with Good Faith Dispensing policy and regulatory requirements.
• Supports inventory management, operational efficiency and customer experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States

Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC)

Intern permit/certificate issued by the Board of Pharmacy

Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days
