Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance is seeking a post-graduate pharmacist trainee to engage in supervised pharmacy activities and fulfill regulatory requirements. You will counsel customers on medication usage, review prescriptions, and support immunizations and preventive health services while ensuring compliance and efficient pharmacy workflow.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from accredited university (outside the United States).
• FPGEC certification.
• Intern permit/certificate as required by state boards (if applicable).
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of intern hours completion.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and generics.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Review and dispense prescribed medications accurately.
• Support pharmacy workflow, inventory management and customer experience.
