Job summary

Walgreens Boots Alliance seeks a pharmacist-in-training to perform post-graduate pharmacy activities under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will provide medication counseling, immunizations, and ensure proper compounding, dispensation, and verification of prescriptions in line with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

You will support pharmacy workflow, inventory management, and strive to enhance customer experience while assisting the pharmacy manager with process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited university is required.
• FPGEC certification is required for international graduates.
• Intern permit/certificate from the respective Board of Pharmacy is required or expectation to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and contraindications.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews and verification.
• Dispense medications accurately and ensure regulatory compliance and policy adherence.
• Support pharmacy manager with workflow optimization, inventory management and KPI review.
