Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, label, scan, and assemble medications for pharmacist verification. You will help keep a well-organized workspace and ensure compliance with regulations in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, state pharmacy tech license, and prior experience (preferably in long-term care).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification required by state.
• Previous pharmacy experience, especially in long-term care, preferred.

Responsabilités

• Pull medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and disposal per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed.
• Package materials and products manually; comply with HIPAA and safety rules.
• Maintain clean/organized workstation and alert pharmacist to scanning issues.
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
