Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, including picking, labeling, scanning, and final preparation for pharmacist verification. You will help maintain an organized workspace and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role supports fast-paced operations across long-term care, post-acute, and specialty pharmacy settings, with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred (one or more years of long-term care experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelving and prepare for dispensing.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and timely under supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed.
• Package materials and maintain clean, organized workstation.
• Follow HIPAA and other government regulations.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of scanning issues.
• Adhere to safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
