Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services, a dedicated partner in care, is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, label, scan, and finalize orders for pharmacist verification. The role supports long-term care, post-acute, correctional, PACE, and specialty pharmacy services while maintaining a compliant, organized workspace.

This position requires a high school diploma, state Licensure/certification for pharmacy technicians, and prior pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred, especially long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accurately check final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under supervision.
• Process returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Pre-pack and label frequently ordered medications as needed.
• Package materials and products manually.
• Follow HIPAA and all government regulations.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and restock supplies.
