Polaris Pharmacy Services is hiring a Pharmacy Fill Technician to prepare prescriptions, label, scan, and finalize orders for pharmacist verification. The role supports a compliant, organized work area and ensures accurate dispensing in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, state-registered pharmacy technician credentials, and prior pharmacy experience; flexibility for varied shifts and overtime is expected. Join a growth-focused, 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to work at a moderate pace and adapt to weather.
• Detail-focused with analytical problem-solving skills.
• Able to lift light weights and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Pull or pick medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Perform accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and timely under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered meds; label and stock as needed.
• Package materials and products; follow safety and HIPAA rules.
• Maintain clean workspace and replenish stock; alert pharmacist to scanning issues.
• Follow policies on safety, attendance, and dress code; may work overtime or weekends.
