Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician to accurately prepare prescriptions, including picking, labeling, scanning, and final preparation for pharmacist verification.

The role supports a well-organized workspace, adherence to regulations, and may require overtime. The schedule is 3:00pm to 11:30pm with rotating weekends; prior long-term care pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of brand name/generic medications.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Detail-focused with analytical problem-solving skills.
• Able to physically perform light lifting up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelving and storage areas for prescriptions.
• Accurately check final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs per procedure and dispose as required.
• Assist in pre-packing medications and labeling stock during low-volume times.
