Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of San Diego LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Fill Technician in San Diego, CA. You will pull and pick medications, perform accuracy checks, and prepare orders under pharmacist supervision.

The role supports long-term care and specialty services, requires a High School diploma and state-licensed technician credentials, and may involve 24/7 operations and overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong English reading/writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pick medications from shelves and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders promptly and accurately.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle per procedure.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and replenish stock; HIPAA compliance.
