Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred, especially long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Pull medications from shelves and prep racks.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before presenting to the pharmacist.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under supervision.
• Process returned drugs and dispose per procedure.
• Label and stock medications during low-volume times.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and restock supplies.
• Follow HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Report scanning issues to the pharmacist on duty.
