The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and state- regulated pharmacy tech certification. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, with variable shifts and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications must be obtained per state regulations.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred (one or more years in long-term care).

Responsabilités

• Pull medications from shelving and storage areas.
• Accuracy check of final preparation before pharmacist verification.
• Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycling/disposal.
• Pre-pack frequently ordered medications and label/stock as needed.
• Package materials manually and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
• Comply with HIPAA and all government regulations.
