Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Pharmacy District Leader responsible for directing up to twenty-five retail pharmacy locations across the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Poconos and Hazelton market area. The role requires travel to multiple locations and active pharmacist licensure in primary state with readiness to obtain licensure in all states served.

Qualifications

Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy plus five years in retail pharmacy.
Active pharmacist license and immunization certification for primary state with expectations to obtain licensure in all operating states within 180 days.

Responsibilities

Directs up to 25 Pharmacy Managers across multiple locations.
Leads staffing, scheduling, training, and HR collaboration to ensure proper staffing and training.
Oversees pharmacy workflow, inventory, safety, and compliance across the district.
Monitors performance metrics and implements improvement plans.
Engages with district leadership on strategy and community initiatives.
