Job summary

Weis Markets in Pennsylvania seeks a District Pharmacy Leader responsible for overseeing up to 25 locations across Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Poconos and Hazelton markets. The role requires travel to multiple stores to drive district operations and patient care.

You will coach Pharmacy Managers and Floating Pharmacists, build talent pipelines, and collaborate with HR and operations to meet service and financial goals while maintaining compliance and safety across the district.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy plus five years' experience in retail pharmacy
• Active pharmacist license and immunization certification for the primary state of district operations with plans to obtain licensure in all states within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead a pharmacy district of up to 25 retail locations to achieve operational and financial goals.
• Develop, evaluate, and retain a high performing team of Pharmacy Managers, Staff Pharmacists, and Floating Pharmacists.
• Ensure safe pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and patient safety across the district.
• Monitor district performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and patient care.
