Responsibilities

• Register new patients and input data into the system using Walgreens entry methods
• Handle prescription requests, enter orders, troubleshoot missing data, translate abbreviations
• Resolve data-entry exceptions and maintain accurate records
• Communicate with patients via calls, chats, and emails; make outbound calls as needed
• Resolve third-party rejects by reviewing information and resubmitting for processing
• Call insurers to obtain required information or override approvals
• Provide assistance to pharmacists in-facility and at other locations, and report issues to senior staff
