Responsibilities

• Perform records access and patient registration per state and federal policies.
• Resolve third-party rejects and respond to high-volume inquiries.
• Enter records into the appropriate system following Walgreens procedures.
• Handle prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders.
• Troubleshoot missing prescription records and interpret SIG abbreviations.
• Communicate with patients via calls, chats, and emails; make outbound calls to prescribers.
• Resolve information-entry exceptions.
• Provide support to pharmacists at the facility and other locations.
• Identify and communicate issues to senior staff.
• Obtain and maintain an active pharmacy technician license within 90 days.
