Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, health information administration, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
• 2 years' relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance or utilization in healthcare systems or business systems.
• 5 years' relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance or utilization in healthcare systems or business systems. STARS and MES experience strongly preferred.
• 8 years’ relevant work experience in data analysis or supporting relational database development, maintenance or utilization in healthcare systems or business systems. STARS and MES experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create complex reports and modify underlying SQL; validate work for accuracy on complex reporting.
• Analyze data and prepare reports on health care services, utilization, costs, trends, enrollment, incentives, and revenue.
• Perform statistical analysis and data modeling per user requests.
• Maintain existing and develop new reporting systems and gather reporting requirements.
• Develop and execute balancing and data validation routines for data warehouse.
• Assist and train business analysts on data interpretation and query/report preparation.
• Make decisions on issues with significant corporate risk impact.
