Job summary

Lincare Holdings is seeking a detail‑oriented customer service representative to support patients and caregivers by answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with physician orders. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, document interactions, and process orders in our secure systems.

The role emphasizes clear communication, reading and understanding prescription terminology, and cooperating with colleagues to train new staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Computer entry required.
• Ability to read and analyze patient orders and prescription terminology.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound calls and outbound dialer-generated calls.
• Assesses customer need for additional products/services.
• Assesses customer compliance with physician orders.
• Answers questions and provides customer education regarding products/services.
• Documents calls in computerized record keeping system.
• Enters customer orders in computerized system.
• Verifies and updates demographic information in records.
• Reads and analyzes documents such as patient orders.
• Comprehends pharmacy prescription terminology.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and patients.
• Assists with training of employees.
• Calculates figures and amounts for dosage frequency.
• Follows oral and written instructions.
