Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

1. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service to customers.
2. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in practicing pharmacy in accordance with regulations. Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

Customer Experience

1. Engages customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
2. Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits, to deliver a memorable customer experience.

Operations

1. Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
2. Recommends products and trade-up or companion items.
3. Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; assists customers in locating products.
4. Maintains cleanliness and merchandising of counters and shelves, manages inventory, and records transactions.
5. Supports pharmacy duties, including entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and assisting pharmacists with workflow.
6. Reports prescription errors immediately and complies with policies and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
7. Follows Good Faith Dispensing policies during prescription activities.
8. Handles non-urgent phone calls, including those to physicians.
9. Processes third-party prescription claims and performs clerical duties as assigned.
10. Supports inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals, and files claims for discrepancies.
11. Ensures compliance with laws on regulated products like alcohol and tobacco.
12. Creates and maintains displays, and performs store resets and revisions.
13. Assists with food and product placement per policies, including stock rotation and out-of-stock management.
14. Operates store systems and equipment effectively.
15. Provides photo services, including passport photos and promotional products.
16. Handles web order pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring, fulfilling, and delivering orders.
17. Maintains store cleanliness and appearance.
18. Follows all policies, fosters respectful coworker relationships, and completes assigned tasks.

Training & Personal Development

1. Maintains PTCB certification and/or state certification/registration.
2. Attends training, completes continuing education, and stays updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional Requirements:

1. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
2. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
