Responsibilities include:

1. Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
2. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
3. Assists the pharmacist, under supervision, in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and processing prescriptions.

Customer Experience

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance, resolving issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.

Operations

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items and assists in stock management, including inventory checks and merchandising.
• Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and assists customers in locating products.
• Supports pharmacy duties such as entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying accuracy, and assisting with inventory management.
• Ensures compliance with laws and company policies regarding regulated products and pharmacy practices.
• Maintains store cleanliness and appearance, and supports promotional displays and stock rotation.
• Provides photo services and web order fulfillment.
• Supports store maintenance and team relationships.

Training & Personal Development

• Maintains PTCB certification and participates in ongoing training and education.
• Requires fluency in English, flexible working hours, and preferably some retail experience and prior Walgreens employment.
• Good math, computer, and inventory control skills are preferred; PTCB certification is a plus.
