- Assists the pharmacist under supervision, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions, in accordance with regulations.
Customer Engagement
- Greets customers and patients, offers assistance, resolves issues, and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
- Shares customer service best practices with team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Operations
- Provides fast, friendly, and efficient service; recommends products and assists in locating items.
- Handles transactions, including voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges; assists customers with OTC products.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of counters and shelves; manages inventory and pricing.
- Supports pharmacy operations: entering patient and drug info, filling prescriptions, verifying medications, and checking for interactions.
- Reports prescription errors immediately; adheres to pharmacy policies and quality standards.
- Handles non-urgent phone calls; processes third-party claims; supports inventory management and store display setups.
- Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products; maintains store appearance and cleanliness.
- Provides photo services and web order fulfillment; supports store maintenance and policy adherence.
Training & Personal Development
- Maintains PTCB certification and completes required training and continuing education.
Additional Requirements
- Fluent in English; willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
