Job summary

Walgreens is hiring for a Pharmacy/Customer Experience role at our Wareham, MA location. You will greet customers, assist with products and services, and provide efficient checkout service while supporting the pharmacist under supervision.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, using store systems, and maintaining accurate records. A flexible schedule and prior retail experience are preferred, with PTCB certification desirable.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Provides customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and assists in stock rotation and merchandising.
• Fills prescriptions, retrieves and counts medications, and checks for interactions as directed by the pharmacist.
• Maintains store cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory records.
• Handles phone calls not requiring pharmacist attention and processes third party claims.
