Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• Computer entry required.
• Must meet licensing requirements for specific location.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers via inbound and outbound calls and supports education regarding products/services.
• Assesses customer needs for additional products/services and compliance with physician orders.
• Documents calls in computerized record keeping system and enters customer orders.
• Verifies and updates demographic information in computerized records.
• Reads and analyzes patient orders and pharmacy prescription terminology.
• Reads and analyzes documents and communicates effectively with coworkers and patients.
• Help with training of employees and carries out oral and written instructions.
• Calculates figures and amounts for frequency and doses dispensed.
