Reporting to the Clinical Pharmacy Manager, the Pharmacy Business Manager is responsible for business management of the assigned outpatient pharmacy workgroup. The Pharmacy Business Manager is responsible for assuring the smooth flow of patients and paperwork, managing Registered Pharmacy Technicians, including Clinical Technicians, aspects of the pharmacy budget, and performance improvement initiatives focused on patient, family, and employee satisfaction. Special focus is required for staff and patient satisfaction. The Pharmacy Business Manager is tasked with hiring, disciplining, and terminating registered Pharmacy Technicians if necessary. The Pharmacy Business Manager will support the Clinical Pharmacy Manager in prioritizing work schedules to improve patient care and management of the pharmacy inventory.
