Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine outpatient pharmacy team seeks an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory management under pharmacist supervision.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalency, Maryland registration upon hire, and certification within 2 years (PTCB or NHA). Six months of experience is preferred. Rotating 8-hour shifts may include weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy required upon hire.
• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support medication preparation, packaging, distribution and inventory management.
• Work under direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
