Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health System is seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to support medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management under the direct supervision of pharmacists. The role requires Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration on hire and certification within 2 years of starting, with 6 months of experience preferred but not required.

The position offers rotating 8-hour shifts, inclusive of weekends, in a patient‑centered environment at Johns Hopkins Health

• Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy is required upon hire.
• Must become certified through and approved certification board (PTCB or NHA) within 2 years of hire.
• 6 months experience preferred but not required.

Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians, you'll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation, packaging, distribution, and inventory management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency

Shift and Schedule:

Rotating 8-hour shifts between 7:30am-8pm

Rotating Weekends

Salary Range:

Minimum 19.25/hour - Maximum 31.80/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
