Pharmacy Automation Field Service Technician

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service professional to provide in-depth technical and customer support for pharmacy automation products at client sites across the region. You will travel daily by car, demo operations, perform maintenance, and resolve issues to ensure uptime.

Responsibilities include installations, documentation in Salesforce Field Service Lightning, and training customers on operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 3-5 years field service experience
• Strong customer service orientation
• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of computer networking, router/switch configuration, and file management
• Strong mechanical proficiency and ability to use hand tools for sophisticated equipment service
• Experience with digital multi-meters and electrical testing equipment
• SQL knowledge a plus
• Ability to travel daily by car, averaging 4 hours per day, with occasional air travel
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 10-12 hours when necessary
• Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Robotics, or Biomedical Engineering Technology preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical and customer support for BD Parata's pharmacy automation products
• Travel regionally to provide support and service to pharmacies in multiple environments
• Deliver customer service and resolve technical problems at client sites
• Maintain equipment and proactively resolve potential issues to improve uptime
• Train customers on operation and maintenance of pharmacy automation systems
• Respond to service requests within SLA requirements
• Collaborate with service teams to resolve sophisticated technical issues
• Assist with new automation installations as needed
• Document issues and resolutions in Salesforce Field Service Lightning
• Provide product feedback to drive continuous improvement
• Work independently with minimal direction
