Job summary

BD Parata is seeking a Field Support Engineer to support the Tampa, Florida region. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex pharmacy automation systems while delivering exceptional customer service and maximizing equipment uptime.

Ideal candidates will have electromechanical, software, and networking expertise, and be comfortable working with pharmacists and healthcare professionals in diverse settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of field service, technical support, industrial maintenance, biomedical equipment service, automation, military electronics, information technology, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining pharmacy automation equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electromechanical, software, networking, and system integration issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, upgrades, and corrective repairs to maximize system uptime and reliability.
• Respond to service requests within established SLAs.
• Educate customers on proper equipment operation and daily maintenance procedures.
• Document service activities and actions in Salesforce Field Service.
