Job summary

BD is seeking an Account Executive for Community and Small Hospital Accounts to drive Pharmacy Automation sales across PA, NY, CT, VT, NH, ME. You will develop new relationships and expand opportunities with pharmacy directors and hospital leaders to improve medication management and financial performance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor degree and have proven healthcare sales experience, with strong communication, negotiation, and CRM/Microsoft Office skills to manage territory effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Proven sales experience in healthcare, medical technology, or related solution-selling environments.
• Strong ability to engage hospital leaders and senior stakeholders.
• CRM software and Microsoft Office experience (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Experience developing new accounts and expanding relationships within a defined territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan focused on community and small hospital accounts.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts and geographic territory.
• Build relationships with pharmacy directors, hospital executives, and finance/operational leaders.
• Understand customer needs, budget considerations, and decision timelines in community settings.
• Position solutions with clear customer value, ROI, and financial impact.
• Manage the sales process from prospecting to close and handoff.
• Maintain CRM records for accounts, opportunities, and activities.
• Develop account plans for priority targets with short-, mid-, and long-term actions.
