Advocate Health seeks an experienced pharmacist informatics specialist to optimize the medication-related elements of our electronic health record. You will act as a bridge between clinicians and IT, designing and implementing EHR builds to improve safety, efficiency, and care quality across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have Epic Willow certification, strong data/analytic skills, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with strong clinical judgment and systems thinking.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces.
• Experience with automated dispensing systems or infusion pumps.
• Ability to translate clinical decisions into system build requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional decision making; communicate risks.

Responsabilités

• Support the medication electronic health record using clinical and informatics skills.
• Serve as liaison between clinicians and IT to optimize EHR builds.
• Develop informatics plans, analyze data, and advance evidence-based practice.
• Design and implement new EHR builds to improve patient care quality.
• Consult with providers, leadership, and clinicians to evaluate information systems.
• Provide links between medication workflows and technology; analyze complex informatics issues.
• Support informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Assist in data analytics creation to review and improve performance.
• Develop automated clinical rules to support patient care.
