Qualifications

• Epic Willow certification is required.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, automated dispensing systems, or infusion pumps.
• Ability to translate clinical decisions and operational needs into clear system build requirements.
• Ability to facilitate effective cross-functional decision-making.
• Proactive identification and communication of risks.
• Ability to work independently while appropriately seeking peer review and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication electronic health record.
• Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems that advance evidence-based practice and safety.
• Designs, evaluates, and implements new EHR build to support clinical practice and patient care quality.
• Consults with providers and leadership to evaluate information systems and communicate complex informatics issues.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Assists in creating data analytics to facilitate data review and performance improvements.
• Develops and implements automated clinical rules supporting patient care.
• Interacts with external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
