Job summary

Qualifications

• Epic Willow certification and pharmacy informatics experience.
• Experience with medication records, formularies, shortages, CNR/dispense prep, labeling, interfaces, automated dispensing systems, or infusion pumps.
• Ability to translate clinical decisions and operational needs into system build requirements.
• Ability to facilitate effective cross-functional decision-making.
• Proactive identification and communication of risks.
• Ability to work independently while appropriately seeking peer review and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR and act as liaison for clinical informatics.
• Develops informatics plans, data analysis, and systems to advance evidence-based practice and medication safety.
• Designs and implements new EHR build to support practice and improve patient care quality and safety.
• Consults with providers and leadership to evaluate information systems and communicates complex informatics issues.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Creates data analytics to facilitate data review and performance improvements.
• Develops automated clinical rules to support patient care.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, federal regulations and other requirements.
