Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a pharmacist informatics specialist to support the medication EHR and serve as a liaison between clinicians and IT. You will develop informatics plans, analyze data, and implement builds that advance evidence-based practice and patient safety.

The role emphasizes collaboration with providers and leadership to optimize workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in clinical informatics across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Epic Willow certification and pharmacy informatics experience preferred.
• Licensed in state(s) of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• 3 years of pharmacist experience or completion of PGY1/PGY2 in pharmacy informatics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leverages pharmacist clinical and informatics skills to support the medication EHR as liaison.
• Develops informatics plans, analyses data, and systems to advance evidence-based practice.
• Designs and implements new EHR builds to support clinical practice and safety.
• Consults with providers and leaders to evaluate information systems and communicate complex informatics issues.
• Supports informatics solutions for clinical and operational improvements.
• Creates data analytics to facilitate reviews and performance improvement.
• Develops automated clinical rules supporting patient care.
• Ensures compliance with local/state/federal regulations.
