Job summary

Ascension's Inpatient Pharmacy in Austin, TX is seeking a pharmacist for night shift, full-time. The role focuses on delivering specialized pharmacy care, reviewing orders, and mentoring students. Requires TX pharmacist licensure, a pharmacy degree, and inpatient hospital experience.

Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and comprehensive benefits. Applicants should be prepared to work with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Texas State Board of Pharmacy licensure obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
• 3 Years Recent Inpatient/Hospital Experience.
• IV/Sterile Compounding Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized pharmacy care to ensure safe and accurate medication therapy.
• Review medication orders and recommend evidence-based alternatives to protect patient safety.
• Partner with clinical staff to provide expert drug information and enhance treatment outcomes.
