Job summary

Ascension in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy at Dell Seton Medical Center. This nights, full-time role focuses on specialized care and safe medication therapy, reviewing orders and advising on evidence-based alternatives.

The position requires Texas pharmacist licensure, a pharmacy degree, and inpatient/hospital experience; IV/sterile compounding certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Texas required before hire.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
• 3 years inpatient/hospital experience preferred.
• IV/sterile compounding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clinical staff to provide drug information and improve outcomes.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Pharmacist credentialed from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.

• 3 Years Recent Inpatient/Hospital Experience
• IV/Sterile Compounding Certification
