Job summary

Peer AI in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer with 3+ years in a B2B SaaS setting, ideally selling to regulated life sciences. You will own discovery calls, tailor demos, and respond to security and regulatory questions to move deals forward.

You will partner with Account Executives, design demos mapping architecture to use cases, and help shape our pre-sales function as we scale with pharma and biotech customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical pre-sales or sales engineering at a B2B SaaS company.
• Experience with regulated industries (life sciences, healthcare).
• Ability presenting to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with pharma regulatory processes and 21 CFR Part 11 guidance.
• Experience handling security and data privacy questionnaires.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives on enterprise deals, leading technical discovery.
• Design and deliver customized product demos aligned to use cases.
• Own responses to RFPs/RFIs, including security and compliance topics.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Product on scoping and edge cases.
• Translate feedback into actionable input for Product and Engineering.
• Maintain demo environments and technical FAQs for pharma buyers.
• Support onboarding during handoff from sales to implementation.
