Job summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support procurement and project management teams on large capital projects in the Cary, NC area. You will handle administrative tasks, document control, project reporting, and procurement coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate information, timely documentation, and organized project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Up to three years supporting capital projects, construction administration, or project controls.
• Experience with project administration systems, electronic RFP tools, purchase orders, or document control platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical document submittal process across capital projects, including tracking, reviews, approvals, revisions, and outstanding items.
• Maintain document control systems with accurate labeling, storage, and accessibility for stakeholders.
• Enforce strict version and revision control so teams work from current approved documents.
• Track documentation status, follow up on items, and keep review processes on schedule.
• Coordinate documentation between Project Managers, engineers, procurement teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain electronic project files and turnover packages; support project reporting with status updates.
