Job summary

CRB Group in Raleigh, NC is looking for a Project Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for complex life sciences and food & beverage projects. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10 years of procurement experience for capital equipment/subcontracting, in EPCM preferred.
• 7 years in Pharma/Life sciences or food and beverage industries preferred.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives for complex contracts >$10MM and portfolio >$50MM.
• Experience end-to-end sourcing, including planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and supplier mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Project Procurement Plan and schedule.
• Lead end-to-end procurement across projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Manage procurement project team with RFIs/RFPs/RFQs; bid tabs and negotiations.
• Provide mentorship for project team members and ensure training.
• Coordinate procurement activities with PM, Engineering, Construction, Quality, Safety, and Finance.
• Administer procurement changes, scope clarifications, and closeout docs.
• Ensure compliance with insurance, bonding, safety, quality, tax, and legal terms.
• Review invoices, pay apps, and documentation for contract compliance.
• Maintain complete procurement files and correspondence per requirements.
• Provide procurement status reporting and support estimating with market data.
• Drive procurement closeout: warranties and final payments; lessons learned.
• Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and supplier performance.
