Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.
• Prior experience in ocean exports and supervisory roles is highly desirable.
• Experience handling pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, temperature-sensitive, or other highly regulated shipments is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the specialized documentation, handling, transportation, and regulatory requirements associated with pharmaceutical shipments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ocean export process, including preparation of shipping documents, customs clearance, and booking with shipping lines.
• Coordinate pharmaceutical shipments, ensuring appropriate handling, documentation, transportation requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical and temperature-sensitive cargo requirements to support safe, compliant shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and other service providers to ensure efficient delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and third-party service providers.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly to maintain satisfaction and trust.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs regulations and trade laws.
• Stay updated on changes in ocean freight regulations and export controls.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Identify and execute process improvements to reduce costs and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, including cargo delivery times, costs, and service quality.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
