Job summary

DSV, a global logistics leader with operations in the USA, seeks an Ocean Export Manager (Pharma) to oversee the export process for ocean cargo, ensuring compliant, timely deliveries and strong customer satisfaction. You’ll manage relationships with customers, vendors, and service providers, and apply pharma-specific handling and documentation requirements.

You will supervise a team of ocean export coordinators, ensure regulatory adherence, and drive improvements in costs and service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Five years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Prior ocean exports and supervisory experience is highly desirable.
• Experience handling pharmaceutical shipments and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Knowledge of documentation, handling, and regulatory needs for pharmaceutical shipments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ocean export process, including shipment documentation, customs clearance and carrier bookings.
• Coordinate pharmaceutical shipments with appropriate handling and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop a team of ocean export coordinators and support staff.
• Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical export requirements and temperature-controlled handling.
• Monitor KPIs and identify process improvements to enhance service quality.
